The Wound Care and Anatomy of the Skin Intensive course in an extensive continuation of the Relevant Anatomy & Aftercare Method/Theory course and is approximately 8-hours in length. The Wound Care Intensive course examines and explains the mechanisms of wound healing and applications of effective wound care techniques. This course will address troubleshooting and assessment skills and objective product overviews, in addition to the following: the inflammatory response, the integumentary system (skin), the phases of wound healing and basic wound care.
