The Wound Care Intensive course is an extensive continuation of the Relevant Anatomy & Aftercare Method/Theory course and is approximately 8-hours in length. The Wound Care Intensive course examines and explains the mechanisms of wound healing and applications of effective wound care technique. The course will address troubleshooting and assessment skills, objective product overviews, in addition to the following: the inflammatory response, the intergumetary system (skin), the phases of wound healing and basic wound care. The Relevant Anatomy & Aftercare Method/Theory and the Wound Care Intensive courses can be combined back-to-back for an extensive two-day course. The fee for the combined course is $500.00 per person (a savings of $100 per person). A non-refundable deposit of $200.00 is required.
